Let's work together with ASHA to realize
"a world where everyone can live a healthy life"

When you get sick, you seek treatment.
When you get injured, you receive care.

What is "normal" for us Japanese is sometimes "not normal" for others.

People living in rural areas of Nepal love their beautiful homeland, but have difficulty accessing proper medical care for a variety of reasons, including geographical, economic, and psychological.

No one should be deprived of the right to receive proper healthcare because of where they live.

ASHA means "Hope" in Nepali.

We are a Japanese NPO composed of pro bono members with various expertise and experience, creating a self-sustaining healthcare system through combining the power of community and technology.

We aim to create an environment in which people can access necessary medical care even in areas where medical resources are scarce. By introducing a system that can be managed by local people, we work toward an affordable and sustainable healthcare system where everyone can rely on.

"Basic Health Rights" For All

A world where everyone can live a healthy life.

ASHA is working to create a "system" that integrates into the local community and solves problems together with the local people, with respect for Nepalese culture and customs. In this way, we aim to build a world in which a safe environment is commonplace for everyone.

We appreciate your cooperation in our efforts to create a brighter future for Nepal.

Frequently Asked Questions

Q

Are donations to ASHA eligible for tax deductions?

Yes. Since ASHA is Specially Approved Corporations Engaging in Specified Non-profit Activities, so donations to ASHA, whether individual or corporate, will be tax-deductible in Japan.

Q.

When can I receive a donation receipt?

It is depending on the type of donation.
For "monthly donations," we will send you a consolidated donation receipt for the entire year (from January to December) in January of the following year. For "one-time donations," we will send you a donation receipt at the beginning of the second month following your donation application.
This is because we issue the receipt after the donation is deposited into ASHA from the payment site (Congrant), so it takes some time.
For donations made directly to ASHA's account via bank transfer, we will send you a donation receipt at the beginning of the month following your donation.

Q

How can I cancel my "monthly donation"?

Please proceed through the My Page on the donation payment site (Congrant).
