Harnessing the power of Community x Technology, constructing a 'system' where necessary healthcare reaches the right people, and supporting local communities to sustain it independently.
We aspire to create a mechanism where sufficient medical care and support for a healthy life are not temporarily but are continuously accessible to those who need them. Importantly, we believe that this system should not be created and operated solely by outsiders but should be sustained by the people living in the region, incorporating their aspirations and utilizing the available resources.

Meaning Behind the Organization Name
The name 'ASHA' has been used since we established the graduate student team.
It represents the initials of our organizational Dream, 'Affordable and Sustainable Healthcare Access,' which signifies ongoing access to healthcare for all. Additionally, it carries the meaning of 'hope' in Nepali, aligning with our aspiration to continually deliver the 'hope for a healthy life.'
Meaning Behind the Logo
The Logo designed by Yasuo Maruyama reflects the sentiments of the founding members and we were using it before the establishment of the organization.
The right side of the logo represents the heart, a symbol of life and emotions, while the left side represents a circle, a symbol of unity and harmony. By overlaying these elements, it expresses the circle of life and the harmony of hearts.
The colors depict the morning sun rising over the world's highest mountains, representing Nepal. The intention is to convey the essence of ASHA (hope) in delivering a happy life to the people in Nepal as it continues to develop.
