Social Media Policy
The Nonprofit Organization ASHA (hereinafter referred to as "the Organization") establishes and complies with the following Social Media Policy (hereinafter referred to as "the Policy") in the operation of the official accounts of the Organization on social media (hereinafter referred to as "the Accounts").
Purpose of Social Media Usage
The Organization utilizes social media to facilitate communication with stakeholders, including supporters, partner organizations/companies, and pro bono members, in order to build positive relationships through the dissemination of information regarding the organization's mission and projects.
Guidelines for Social Media Usage
The Organization understands that social media is a widely accessible platform for public communication and that once information is posted, it cannot be completely retracted. Therefore, it participates in communication with a responsible attitude.

Compliance with laws, the Organization's Privacy Policy, and other rules are ensured.

Attention is paid to the content and method of communication.

In the event of disseminating incorrect information or expressions that may cause misunderstanding, prompt correction is made.

Compliance with regulations set by third-party operators of various social media platforms is ensured.

Respect for and consideration of the rights of third parties, including human rights, intellectual property rights, and privacy rights, are maintained to prevent infringement.

The Organization does not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or usefulness of the information posted on the Accounts and assumes no responsibility for it.

The Organization assumes no responsibility for the content and comments posted by users or third parties related to the Accounts.

The Organization assumes no responsibility for any damages incurred by users or third parties due to the use of the Accounts or the inability to use them for any reason.

The Organization assumes no responsibility for damages suffered by users or third parties due to matters related to the Accounts.
Prohibited Acts
The following acts and acts that may pose a risk thereof by users are prohibited on the Accounts. The Organization reserves the right to delete content that falls under these categories and to restrict user accounts.

Acts that infringe upon the rights and interests of the Accounts, other users, or third parties

Acts that defame or slander the Accounts, other users, or third parties and hinder their operations

Election campaigning, religious activities, or similar activities

Solicitation such as advertising, promotions, or funding

Tampering with information posted on the Accounts or unauthorized use for profit

Hacking, unauthorized access, or duplication of the Accounts

Acts that violate the terms of use established by each social media platform, public order and morals, or laws

Other acts deemed inappropriate by the Organization
Copyright
The copyright of information posted on the Accounts generally belongs to the Organization. However, the rights of third parties that were held prior to this shall take precedence. The copyright of content posted by users on the Accounts generally belongs to the users themselves. However, by posting, users grant the following rights to the Organization and agree:

The right to use content non-exclusively without prior consent or compensation to the users

The right to use all or part of the content (reproduction, modification, translation, excerpting, publication, etc.)
Handling of Personal Information
When the Organization obtains personal information from users, it handles the information appropriately based on the Organization's Privacy Policy.
Changes to the Policy
The Organization may change the contents of this Policy without obtaining the consent of users of the Accounts. In the event of changes, the revised Policy will be made public by the Organization on the Organization's website, and it will take effect when posted, applying to users thereafter.
Jurisdiction
Disputes related to the use of the Accounts and this Policy shall be under the exclusive jurisdiction of the Tokyo District Court for the first instance.
